Are Next Beds easy to tilt down and lift up?

The Next Bed has a spring loaded mechanism. Install proper number of Springs to establish an effortless operation when tilting down or lifting up your Next Bed. The counter balance prevents the bed frame from falling.

What is the difference in quality sleep I could expect between using a Next Bed vs a Sofa Bed?

The primary difference between the two comes down to sleep comfort. The Next Bed uses a conventional mattress between 8 to 12 inches thick. This is a better quality mattress than any sofa mattress you'll find on the market.

Is it easy to install?

Yes, The Next Bed comes with a 4 page set of step by step assembly and installation instructions that include illustrations.

Could I take my Next Bed with me when a move?

Yes, The Next Bed could be disassembled and reassembled at your new location.

Can I use my own mattress?

The Next Bed allows for Standard North American size mattresses. Use a coil spring or foam mattress that distributes the weight, for a lasting pleasant sleep experience.

What's the distance from the floor to top of the mattress.

When the Next Bed is open. The distance from the floor to the top surface using an 8 inch thick mattress would be 22 inches and when using a 12 inch thick mattress it would be 26 inches.

The distance from the floor to the top of the Next Bed laminated slats is 14 inches, plus add the thickness of your 8 to 12 inch thick mattress and this will give you your total height.
